Lex Legal Practice has conducted in-depth research on the laws relating to application-based ride-hailing companies in the first world countries and third world countries around the globe, specifically having regard to the ride-hailing laws in India, Bangladesh and Pakistan. The research includes a review of the approach adopted by the European Court of Justice, New York Department of Labor and legislation passed by the New York City Council in 2018 in relation to the application-based ride-hailing companies.
